Connecting to Zoom (Students)

Follow the instructions below to connect Quuly to Zoom. The only information we store is info that is necessary to start meetings on your behalf.

You only permit Zoom to connect with Quuly to initiate meetings with a TA as indicated by the permissions we request from you when you install the Quuly Zoom App. You can learn more about how we protect your data in our Privacy Policy.

Student Zoom Usage

Within the inbox under the “Request help” screen, select a Virtual room to create a virtual office hours request with Zoom. Click “Add to Zoom” then sign in to Zoom in a new window and install the Quuly app to Zoom.

That's it, you're all set. Head back to Quuly and click "Join Queue" to notify available TAs.

You will be notified when a TA is ready to see you. Once your session has been dequeued and you have been notified, click "Open Zoom Meeting". A new Zoom window will appear; please wait for your TA to arrive to the meeting. You may close the Zoom window when the meeting is done.

Uninstalling the Zoom App

  1. Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  1. Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Quuly app.
  1. Click the Quuly app.
  1. Click Uninstall.
